Kia Ora. My name is Elizabeth and I have been the Professional leader here at NBCP since 2005.  I believe with all my heart that Early Childhood years are the most important years for all tamariki as they lay the foundation for future learning and life. Working with whanau to enable strong learning outcomes for all tamariki is what I base my teaching practice on. When I am not teaching or running the preschool I love to spend time with my own family and friends.

Hi. I am Angie. I am originally from Malaysia and have been in NZ for eight years. I have a growing family with a daughter and a son. I love being with children and teaching at NBCP. I also enjoy cooking, hiking and the outdoors. My extended family are all in China or Malaysia so keeping in touch with them by video calls is also important to me.

Hi. My name is Rose. I have lived on the North Shore all my life and have been at NBCP four years. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I consider it a privilege to be part of children’s learning as they grow, develop and discover the incredible talents they have each been given. I taught middle school for 7 years and later was introduced to early childhood after I had children and haven’t looked back! I have two sons and when i’m not judging lego creations or playing hide and seek, I enjoy finding a cosy place by myself to read a book or work on a crossword.

Hi. My name is Grace. I came to NZ in 2001 from China, where I was a primary school teacher specialising in maths. I love working with children and learning together with them. I am married with two sons and our family attends Northcote Baptist church. I coordinate the Community After School Programme(CASP) at the church and also help run the Willowpark school chess club. For fun I like to potter in my garden.

Graduate Diploma of Teaching ECE – Fully Registered

Hi. I am Lulu and am originally from China. I have been in NZ since 2007 and worked at NBCP since 2013. I enjoy spending time with children and learning together with them. I believe that education at this early age has lifelong benefits and it is a privilege to be with them at this stage of life. I am married and my husband and I enjoy hiking and watching movies.

Siu

Hi. My name is Siu. I was born in NZ but my parents are Tongan. I love watching children grow and develop and being part of that process. I speak Tongan and English and am fascinated by languages. I enjoy being involved at church and relaxing at home.
